Piab Vakuum GmbH and Unitec Informationssysteme GmbH jointly use the special times to bring the knowledge level of the employees to a new level through flexibly designed online training courses.
Piab relies on Solid Edge 2019 for its design and has high demands on the CAD system due to its innovative and broad product portfolio.
"Through UNITEC's training, which was individually tailored to our requirements, we were able to discover the advantages of Synchronous Technology in Solid Edge for ourselves. We had already achieved a high degree of utilisation in CAD before the online training. Nevertheless, the experts at UNITEC were able to clarify many questions that were important for us, and introduce us to innovations in the programme and simplifications in the workflow," explains Dipl.-Ing. Daniel Gies, who is responsible for the development of complex special designs in the company.
"We used the current situation to increase our knowledge in Solid Edge and were able to coordinate very well when and what should be learned due to the spatial independence and temporal flexibility of an online training. Here, the UNITEC trainer responded very well to our wishes," continues Mr Gies.
