CAD2Vis has been developed, aiming at converting CAD data into
visualization data, without the need to have the source CAD system.

CAD2Vis offers two options:
- CAD data can be tessellated (subdivided into polygons)
  by setting a set of parameters which will generate the
  tessellation with some specific requirements.

- CAD data which contains geometry defined as NURBS, can be
  converted into visualization format with the support of NURBS.
  One can afterwards tessellate the result with an external tool.
